Terms & Conditions

Our Terms

Our terms and conditions comply with UK Legislation and are designed to ensure our customers can shop with confidence on our Website. These terms and conditions apply to Website sales.

Availability

Although every effort is made to update stock levels, items shown on this website may not always be in stock particularly during August. If any of the items you order are not in stock we will notify you by email of the expected date the item will be back in stock. Please note that an indication of such dates is an estimate only, may be subject to change without notice and does not constitute a contractual obligation by SS&U Ltd to supply goods by a certain date. We will update you with any changed to estimated dates.

Delivery Charges

Delivery Charges are per order of clothing and are charged at £4.00 per delivery. Deliveries within a 10 mile radius are carried out by our own staff, not by a courier (Except in exceptional circumstances)

Take Two Service

If you require more that one size to be brought to you to try on please indicate which sizes of which products your require in the Take two box. We can bring up to 2 extra sizes of each garment to try.

Please note socks and tights cannot be returned once tried on. Shirts ordered in packets cannot be opened and returned. If you require shirts to try on please indicate in the take two box and we will bring a sample to try on along with the shirts/blouses in packets.

Delivery

We will telephone or email you to let you know that the goods are ready for delivery. We will then contact you again to arrange a mutually convenient time for delivery of your items. If you are using the take two service please try to arrange a time when the child will be available to try on the clothing.

Damaged/wrong goods

Please check your uniform delivery whilst we are there so that damaged, missing or wrong items can be identified.

Failure to check the goods and document any issues with at the time of delivery will mean that you will need to return items back to the shop at your own cost. We will happily wait whilst you check the items.

In the (highly unlikely) event that the driver will not wait for you to inspect the goods, please sign for as ‘Damaged/Missing or wrong.

Once signed as damaged, you must report the issue in writing within 24 hours to make a claim. An email is acceptable.

Customized Orders

When customised or bespoke goods (such as items embroidered with initials/special sizes etc.) are ordered we are unable to accept ANY returns. You are responsible for ordering suitable goods for your requirements. If however the goods are damaged, you may be able to make a claim against the manufacturer or supplier if you have inspected and signed the goods as damaged upon delivery.

No claims against damage will be accepted if you have signed for goods without indicating any damage.

Returns

The customer is liable to pay for any returns not identified during the delivery.

Returned goods will only be accepted within 14 days of delivery if they are correctly packed in the original packaging, have all labels still attached and have not been marked or personalised.

Click and Collect Orders

If you order for Click and Collect you will be notified by email when your order is ready to collect. You will have 30 days to collect your order. If you do not collect your order in this time we will put the item back into stock and refund your payment unless your item has been personalised. These items cannot be refunded.

Product Images and descriptions

Please note that the colour of images shown on this website may be affected by the technology used to access it. Whilst we do our best to reproduce colours, some variation may occur and may not appear the same on different devices. Please contact us if you are unsure about any colour issues.

We so our best to give as accurate a description as possible but these may be open to interpretation. Again, if you are unsure about anything please contact us.

Legal

Sales on this website are governed by English law and you agree to submit any dispute to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. All orders are subject to these terms and conditions and no amendments will be accepted by us. These terms and conditions do not affect your legal rights.

These terms and conditions only cover website sales conducted on www.impressionsuniforms.co.uk website. We are required by law to tell you that sales can be concluded in English only and that we do not file copies of customer contracts.
